The history of modern music is also the history of its innovators. One might say that Herb Robertson was one of the most radical explorers of timing, choice and placement of note and of sonic possibilities on the trumpet. When the longstanding trio Dell Ramond Kugel embarked on a tour with Robertson on March 2024, they could not now that it was his last.
